Hi! My name is Sean. I am a college student at Michigan State University, originally from the Chicagoland area. I enjoy all things sports, as well as food, reading, movies, and a long afternoon nap. I have worked as a janitor, camp counselor, and other part time positions. I am a Criminal Justice major, and hope to one day work for the FBI, DEA, or one of the other Federal Government acronyms. I have taken a specific interest in the illegal trade and distribution of guns and drugs.
As a writer, I have progressed throughout my years in school. I have tried many different writing styles over the years, however I have never blogged before. My main point and supporting details are usually strong, but my spelling and mechanics can be suspect. I hope to offer a straight to the point, unbiased and entertaining perspective on the field of Criminal Justice for young adults.
The blog itself will contain a few types of blogs. Some will be research related, using facts and other resources to educate people about the field. The other half or so will contain types of media or current events to show a more personal viewpoint in the careers of people in the Criminal Justice field. Comments are always encouraged, because a unique viewpoint from each reader will help broaden the viewpoints for both myself and other readers on the site.As a writer, I have progressed throughout my years in school. Great about me page. Straight to the point and you also introduce you're self well. Maybe add a point of what or why you are motivated in the illegal drug trade from other countries into the U.S.
ReplyDeleteI like the connections you set up between your blog field and your interests. The only thing I think you can improve is to expand a little on how and why you are focusing on this chosen field.
ReplyDeleteWell, first, I would like to say thank you, because people like you who want to work for FBI or DEA are protecting the good lives of us. I really appreciate it. And your article is kind straight to point. Just wondering, why your choose criminal justice as your major?
ReplyDeleteI have had multiple relatives in the military and law enforcement and I want to follow in their footsteps. I want to make a positive difference in the community I live in and I feel like this is a great way to do it. I also don't want to sit in a cube all day for the rest of my life. To be out in the city or town and have a hands on job would be very interesting
